Many people think that because they are not flexible they cannot do yoga. Nothing is farther from the truth: Yoga will help with your flexibility, but not only when it comes to the physical body, but also mentally. Not everyone starts doing yoga for the same reasons, and whatever your reason is, it may be difficult to find the right time, place and instructor to start your yoga path.
There are so many different types of yoga out there, as well as so many options to where to practice: yoga studios, gyms, outdoor events, public libraries, etc. The most important thing to consider is for you to feel comfortable wherever you decide to practice. It is a very personal time of the day, when you roll out your mat and start your yoga practice, that you need to do it where you feel at ease.
