Today I started my Sunday going on an energizing bike ride along A1A next to the coast. 15 miles round trip in about an hour and a half with a few stops to take in the views and the fresh air. What does this have to do with Yoga you may ask?
This bike ride was Yoga! It was a positive action done with full awareness and with full connection with the surroundings. Also, fully connected to inner breath and practicing non-violence with one self and others! Feeling the sun and the breeze made me feel the full connection with what I was doing and making sure my breathing was full and rhythmic helped with the physical activity itself.
Tomorrow I will back in the class eager to learn all there is to learn about this ancient philosophy of life.
